American robin at birdbath that I saw last night.
Above: a big surprise to see this eastern meadowlark in the backyard, my dad said he used to see them all the time before houses were built in a field down the street.
Purple martin. The couple have been having a hard time trying to make a nest in the martin house that the house sparrows have taken over and are chasing them away from :( Sounds like we need a "sparrow hawk" (kestrel ) to help us with that problem - that's there favorite meal.
