May 14th, Lakeside Nature Center

This was a pretty exciting trip for me; I got to see an American redstart!,an awesome bird!!! And enjoy all the sunshine (even if I complained about it being way too hot!) .

A cute bunch of flowers I saw on the trail.

Below: A yellow warbler and its reflection!

The yellow warbler along with a Tennessee warbler.
Below: A female summer tanager. I always seem to get good pictures of the female, but I have only ever gotten one of a male (he's RED) and it wasn't any good.

Above: Got a picture of a yellow warbler and an indigo bunting!

The American redstart! It was my first time seeing one of these tiny, but beautiful birds :)
